I've been slacking not only on updating my running blog, but running. On Thursday the family and I took a road trip to Nebraska. The driving with the family time took the place of some of my running days. So the short and sweet version is:
* Wednesday - 5 miles at work with 2 other guys. Nice and easy 7:45 minute miles
* Thursday - Off
* Friday - Off
* Saturday -9 miles in the Country. The closest town is 6.5 miles away and even that town is hard to consider a "town". Something like 100 people there. The hilly and open roads made it a tough run.
Miles this week - 43.2
Miles this month - 139.2
Days thus far in the month - 23
Days ran this month - 16
Days off this month -7
Miles this year - 1124.4
Miles in the month of January - 241 (Average 7.77 miles per day)
Miles in the month of February - 205.5 (Average 7.34 miles per day)
Miles in the month of March - 267 (Average 8.61 miles per day)
Miles in the month of April - 271.7 (Average 9.06 miles per day)
Then the start of the new running week I was able to get 8 miles in on Sunday and took yesterday off to drive back home. The drive back home, with stops, took us 13 hours (650 miles). Long day yesterday.
With being one week post marathon it's now time to get back into the swing of things.
